                Should We Celebrate Western Festivals?

 In recent years, western festivals like Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day have become increasingly popular in China. But should we Chinese people celebrate western festivals? Opinions are divided on this issue.

Most people are in favor of it. They believe that the celebration of western festivals can make our life more colorful and romantic, which helps our traditional cultures fresh and active. Besides, it provides a good chance for us to communicate with others and develop our relationships. 

However, other people hold different t of all,they argue that some young people pay more attention to western festivals than our traditional ones, which will die out if not protected well. What's worse, many people are not clear about the western festivals and they just create a mess. 

    As far as I am concerned, we should not resist western festivals. But I do hope the government will encourage people to celebrate Chinese traditional festivals in creative and colorful ways.
