Li Chunlin, a farmer, used to live in a poor village in the north of Shaanxi. In the 1980s, he went to Shenzhen to make a living with his wife.

When the villagers saw the changes, some started to join Li and his wife in the fight. Then more joined. Years went by. And now larger areas around the village are covered with green trees.
