Dear Tom,

I’m glad to hear from you and I’m happy to tell you something about my school activities. My favourite activity is the art festival. Last year I entered for the singing competition with my favorite song. I spent a lot of time practicing before the competition. At the very beginning I was a little nervous because it was my first time  ti sing in front of the teachers and students. But when I saw a sweet smile from my teacher,I felt more confident. I performed very well and finally got the second place. I was proud of myself and I became more interested in singing.
