Inanancientcountrythereweretwofamouscarpenters(木匠),Andy...

In an ancient country there were two famous carpenters(木匠), Andy and John. One day, their king wanted to know who was better, so he told them: During the three days, the one who carved(雕刻)the more lovely mouse, would be the National First Carpenter(全国第一木匠). The two carpenters worked hard day and night. Three days later, they showed the king their carved mice. The king asked all his soldiers to decide the result. Andy’s mouse was so wonderful that it was just like a real one while John’s was ugly. So the king and his soldiers all agreed Andy was the winner. But John disagreed. He shouted, “That’s unfair. It should be decided by cats.” The King thought it was right. Then he asked his soldiers to bring several cats. To everyone’s surprise, the cats all jumped on John’s mouse. So the king had to announce(宣布) John was the final winner. Later, the king asked John, “How did you make the cats like your mouse?” John said, “In fact, it’s simple. I carved a mouse only with the fishbone(鱼骨)! What the cats care about is not its shape, but its taste!”
