Born into a teacher's family in Poland in 1867, Madame Curie was a world famous woman scientist.

From her early childhood, she loved to study and hoped to become a great scientist. She won the Nobel Prize for physics in 1903 and for chemistry in 1911.     It is not easy for a woman to succeed in her work.
